The longest hitter on the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour, rookie Na Yoon (19), has made a strong start towards her first championship.

In the first round of the KLPGA Tour Ever Collagen Queen’s Crown (total prize of 800 million won) held at Lakewood Country Club Mountain and Forest Trail Course (par 72) in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province on the 14th, Yuna took the lead by hitting 7 under par 65.

In the McCall Mona Park Open on the 3rd, Yoon Ina, who awakened her potential by taking the runners-up by one stroke behind Im Jin-hee (24), laid a foothold to challenge for the championship once again.

Yuna, who ranked first in the long batting list this season (263.7 yards), swept seven birdies with a hot long hit that day, and did not write any bogeys.

In particular, Yuna Yoon, who tried two-on in three par 5 holes, could not put her second shot on the green, but harvested 4 birdies only on the par 5 holes by dropping it near the green to catch a birdie.

Two of the remaining three birdies were made by attacking the green with a wedge shot following a long hit on a par 4 hole.

Ina Yoon, who played without bogey for the first time on the regular tour, said, “I wasn’t in very good condition due to the continuous participation in the tournament. I couldn’t keep the fairway a lot from the tee shot, but I liked the next shot and the short game.”

Lim Hee-jung (22), who placed second in the prize money ranking, was prepared to jump into the competition for the championship by hitting a 4-under 68.

Song Ga-eun (22), who challenged the championship for two weeks in a row, had a good first day by hitting 1-under 71.
