Smilegate Stove officially launches ‘The Battle of Baek Hero’, a spiritual successor to ‘The Guardian of Fantasy’

Smilegate’s game platform Stove announced on the 24th that it will present ‘Baek Hero Battle’, a spiritual sequel to the JPRG classic ‘Guardian of Fantasy’ series.

Battle of White Heroes is produced by Rabbit & Bear Studio, founded by developers from Konami, the creator of Fantasy Guardians, and Castlevania, and published by global indie game publisher 505 Games. It raised expectations from the development stage, ranked first in Kickstarter sponsorship in 2020, and recorded $4.6 million (approximately KRW 6.3 billion), more than 9 times the funding goal.

As the title of the game suggests, Battle of Baek Heroes features extensive content with over 100 characters. Under the slogan, ‘A tribute game to all fans of classic JRPGs,’ the masterpiece classic game called Fantasy Guardian was reinterpreted with a modern sensibility.
