US begins providing weapons to Ukraine… “The real beneficiary is the United States.”

[앵커]

The United States has begun providing weapons worth more than 1 trillion won to Ukraine.

It may seem like a welcome rain to Ukraine, which is on the defensive, but some have argued that it is the United States that is really smiling.

Russia has threatened to attack weapons caches.

It has been reported that the United States has already prepared to ship weapons worth 1.4 trillion won to Ukraine.

These are military vehicles, anti-aircraft missiles, and various ammunition that can be used on the battlefield right away, and are expected to be of considerable help to Ukraine’s military power.

“I am confident that we are strictly monitoring to ensure that U.S. support is not diverted. The weapons provided will be useful on the battlefield.”

With former President Trump supporting Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, who faced backlash from hardliners of his own party for leading the security budget process, the crisis of dismissal seems to be coming to an end.

Meanwhile, a prominent U.S. defense expert attracted attention by claiming that the real beneficiary of Ukraine’s support was the U.S. military.

He said that the additional security budget made it possible to replace Cold War-era equipment with modern equipment, and that the U.S. military was able to purchase new armored vehicles thanks to the provision of armored vehicles that had been stored in warehouses since the Vietnam War to Ukraine.

However, he added that since Russia’s equipment is worse than that, it will be effective for Ukraine.

Russia claimed that most of the U.S. security budget passed this time would be used for U.S. military projects.

“In response to the threats posed by the United States and its Western allies, Russia will continue to improve its military and increase production of weapons and military equipment.”

Ukraine hopes to change the situation where it is on the defensive through this support.

Russia, on the other hand, threatened to intensify its attacks on Ukrainian weapons caches.
