TV transmission tower broken in two… Russia destroys Ukraine before strengthening its firepower

The additional arms support bill for Ukraine has passed the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate, leaving only President Biden’s signature.

Russia appears to be tightening its airstrikes to eliminate key facilities before the Ukrainian military reinforces its firepower.

A TV transmission tower in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, was broken in two.

On the 22nd local time, the upper part of the 240-meter-high tower was blown off by a Russian missile.

This disrupted digital broadcast signals in Kharkiv and nearby regions.

Russia, which says it does not attack civilian facilities, claims that the tower was used for military purposes.

Recently, Russia has been increasing its offensive against Kharkiv, a city of 1.4 million people in northeastern Ukraine.

In particular, as the countdown begins on additional weapons support to Ukraine, including U.S. air defense systems and long-range rockets, they appear to be focusing on airstrikes on major facilities in advance.

“Drones and missiles (attacks) never stop, so air defense capabilities and interceptor missiles are needed. Long-range (strike) capabilities such as artillery shells and HIMARS are also needed.”

In accordance with the Ukraine aid budget plan that passed the House of Representatives and then the Senate, the Biden administration is preparing to provide weapons support worth 1 billion dollars, or 1.3 trillion won in Korean money.

This reportedly includes Bradley fighting vehicles and TOW anti-tank missiles.

Britain also announced plans to provide additional military support worth 850 billion won to Ukraine, including long-range cruise missiles Stormshadow.

“Today, we have some much-needed good news about a new military aid package from our partner, the United Kingdom. It is worth 500 million pounds.”

Meanwhile, North Korea claimed in a statement that military support for Ukraine is nothing more than a ‘hallucinogen’ that only leads to vain dreams of changing the already strong war situation.
