The LA Book Festival, one of the largest book festivals in the United States, has provided an opportunity to introduce Korean literature.
As awareness of Korean literature grew along with the Korean Wave, the response from visitors was more enthusiastic than ever.
Author Jeong Bo-ra, who was a finalist for the Booker Prize, an international literary award, was also invited to meet American readers.

The LA Book Festival is considered one of the most influential festivals in the United States, with over 150,000 visitors every year and over 500 publishers and libraries participating.
As if showing interest in Korean literature, the Korean corner was crowded with people during the two days of the event.
Author Jeong Bo-ra, who was a finalist in the international category of the Booker Prize, a world-renowned literary award, with ‘The Cursed Rabbit’, was also invited to this event.
Author Jeong spoke with readers about the novel collection ‘Meet Her,’ which was published in the United States early this year.

Thanks to the popularity of Korean Wave content, interest in Korean literature is growing in the United States.
