Chungcheong Biz mobile site opens Korea Science Festival ‘Science and Technology Fair’

In celebration of Science Month, the National Research Foundation of Korea announced that it will hold the ‘2024 Korea Science Festival’ and the ‘5th Korea Science and Technology Fair’ for four days from the 25th to the 28th at Daejeon Expo Citizen’s Square and Expo Science Park.

While the Science and Technology Exhibition, which celebrates its 5th anniversary this year, focuses on exhibiting the latest research results, the Science Festival focuses on experiencing science, technology and culture. The research foundation expects that the integrated hosting of the two events will serve as an opportunity for all ages to enjoy and experience science, making it a global science festival.

In this event, 218 institutions, including KAIST, will participate and showcase 425 scientific programs, including Nuriho, walking robots, and quantum computers.

At the Science Museum, which is operated as a space dedicated to science and technology exhibitions (TFS Tent at Expo Citizen’s Square), you can see the achievements of innovative and challenging research and development that challenges the world’s best.

In particular, you can see the research and development activities of private companies through the exhibition of the works of companies participating in the 2024 CES, such as unmanned delivery robots and AI webtoons, and there is also an exhibition booth for basic and national research results where you can see the results of support from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Research Foundation.
