2024 Opening Ceremony for Invention Education Center Affiliated with Gyeonggi-do Goyang Office of Education – Gyeongin Maeil

[고양=이기홍기자] The 2024 opening ceremony of the Gyeonggi-do Goyang Office of Education Affiliated Invention Education Center was held in the main auditorium on the first floor of the Goyang Future Talent Education Center.

On this day, about 200 people, including regular course students, parents, and instructors, attended the opening ceremony. This year’s regular course at the Invention Education Center will be divided into six classes, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes, and will provide 52 hours of invention education program per year.

The Invention Education Center affiliated with the Gyeonggi-do Goyang Office of Education opened in 1997 and has focused all its educational capabilities on fostering the creativity of students with a passion for invention. In particular, we operate educational programs centered on activities and experiences that match the trends of the times, such as woodworking, coding, and drones, and strive to provide high-quality invention program education by leading self-directed student activities such as invention notes, invention videos, and invention presentations.

Student OO Kim, who was selected for the regular course through an interview on April 6, said, “I am very happy to have been selected for invention education. “Based on what I learned through the regular course, I will come up with inventions that are helpful to society,” he said.

Kim Jae-kyung, director of the Goyang Office of Education, encouraged students, saying, “We will provide generous support so that students can challenge themselves with new things and achieve their dreams.”

In addition to regular courses, the Goyang Invention Education Center plans to continue to operate various programs such as sharing invention classes, one-day invention classes, family invention classes, faculty, staff, and the general public in the community.
