The ‘2024 Korea Science Festival & 5th Korea Science and Technology Fair’, hosted by the National Research Foundation of Korea and hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Daejeon City, was held in the Daejeon Expo Citizen’s Square from the 25th to the 28th.
This event, held under the theme of ‘The World’s Largest Laboratory’, combines a public participation science festival and a science and technology exhibition introducing research results, providing a wealth of things to enjoy and see.
During the event, the research foundation will install and operate the ‘Science Museum’, which unfolds the future of science and technology, the ‘Science Lounge’, which offers healing through science, and the ‘Science Theme Park’, a place for fun and interesting experiences.
In addition, we provide a variety of programs such as ‘Science Lab’ to develop students’ imagination and ‘Science Talk Talk’ to communicate with science.
In particular, at the Science Museum, you can see at a glance the research foundation’s support for the development of future core technologies that lead changes in everyday industries, such as unmanned delivery robots and AI webtoons.
In addition, the latest achievements such as KAIST’s ‘Development and commercialization of wearable robot platform technology’, Seoul National University’s ‘Photonic circuit pruning technology for AI and quantum computers’, and Yonsei University’s ‘Deep learning model that automatically designs genetic scissors’ will be revealed. .
