President Yoon Seok-yeol and Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung have decided to hold a meeting next Monday.

This is the first conversation with the opposition party leader in about two years since President Yoon took office, and the President’s Office said that it hopes it will be an opportunity to revive the people’s economy and solve pending national affairs.

Lee Jae-myeong, leader of the Democratic Party, narrowed the difference in positions that could not be narrowed in the previous two working-level meetings.

″We have to coordinate in advance, but even that isn’t easy… “I will put everything aside and meet President Yoon Seok-yeol first.”

He said he gave up his position of coordinating the agenda first for a fruitful meeting and accepted the President’s office’s request not to limit the agenda.

The meeting was scheduled to be held at the Presidential Office in Yongsan at 2 p.m. next Monday in the form of a conversation between three people, including working-level officials from both sides, over tea.

″According to President Yoon Seok-yeol’s wish to hear many stories from Representative Lee Jae-myung and Party Representative Lee Jae-myung’s wish to meet quickly regardless of whether the agenda is agreed upon… .″

The Democratic Party said that it was the public sentiment revealed in the general election to save the people’s livelihood and change the direction of government administration, and said that it would convey this to President Yoon.

Although they said there was no set agenda, they actually planned to use it as an opportunity to raise criticism about the president’s overall administration of state affairs.

″We plan to convey the agenda that reflects the public sentiment in the general election to the President without any additions or omissions and find a solution.″

Special prosecutor Chae Sang-byeong and first lady Kim Geon-hee, including 250,000 won per person in support.

Virtually all stories are expected to be mentioned, including the president’s repeated vetoes.
