Cloud crowd for LG-KIA match and NC-Lotte match

Professional baseball’s Hanwha Eagles extended their KBO League home game sellout streak to 15 games.

Hanwha announced on the 28th that all 12,000 seats for the home game against the Doosan Bears held at Daejeon Hanwha Life Eagles Park were sold at 1:38 p.m.

Starting with the last home game of the regular season against the Lotte Giants on October 16 last year, Hanwha continued to sell out 15 home games in a row until this day.

The previous record for consecutive home game sellouts was 12 games set by the Samsung Lions in 1995.

On this day, the LG Twins-KIA Tigers match held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul (23,750 seats) and the NC Dinos-Lotte Giants match held at Changwon NC Park (17,891 seats) were also sold out.

LG sold out for the 5th time this season, and NC sold out for the 3rd time this season.

This season, professional baseball is attracting audiences at an alarming rate.

On the 27th, the KBO League surpassed 2 million spectators after 148 games.

This is the second fastest speed ever.
